Silcolan NV is a low-viscosity RTV silicone rubber, ideal for making one and multi-part negative moulds. It can be used for reliefs, objects of everyday use, technical moulded parts, figurines and many other applications and is particularly suitable for craftwork moulding due to its easy processing and good moulding characteristics.
Silcolan-NV boasts superior flowability, is self-exhausting and provides accurate moulding properties. Due to its mid-elasticity, it can also be used as additional solid support for models with a soft silicone skin. The moulds made of Silcolan-NV can be cast universally with almost all casting materials, including gypsum, cement, ceramic casting masses, formstones, woodstone, casting soaps, wax, clear and technical polyester resins as well as polyurethane casting masses.
