The method used for melting Formaform is identical with the
melting of chocolate for cooking.
I.e. in a container placed
in boiling water. It stays in a rubber like, pliable form. Not
as tearproof as silicon. Rough surfaces require coating with
a separation material (e.g. Cancol) . Non toxic. If you want
to use it for filling with hot wax, please add 40% of the
Formaform Thermolan additive to make it heat resistant.
Without the addition of Thermolan, Formaform can be melted and reused.
Well suited for filling with plaster and ceramics. Formaform is
reusable, if there is no Thermolan inside.
