I have seen it, such as my little flame
When you folded your hands
And gave your heart away.

I am more than just a candle, more than just a gift
My light shell attend your marriage.
I am a silent witness in the home of your love

On days where the sun shines, I do not need to burn.
But if you are delirious with joy
Or if a beautiful star appears on the horizon

Light me when it becomes dark, when a storm breaks into your life
When there are fights
