I have seen it
Such as my little flame
When you folded your hands
And gave your heart away.

I am more than just a candle
More than just a gift
My light shell attend your marriage.
I am a silent witness in the home of your love
And will always guard you.

On days where the sun shines
I do not need to burn.
But if you are delirious with joy
Or if a beautiful star appears on the horizon
Then light me.

Light me when it becomes dark
When a storm breaks into your life
When there are fights
When you suffer from something silently
Then light me.

Light me when the first step is to take
But you do not know how
When you look for peace
But you cannot find the words
When you want to hug

My tiny light shines for you
